Miranda Jirik, dancer: Squiz, we should call it many things, Dublin Dances, the 30th Hour, look at them long and long
Miranda Jirik received her early dance training at Zenon Dance Company in Minneapolis, MN. While studying at St. Olaf College, she traveled to Ghana for a semester to learn traditional West African dance. She holds an MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College, during which time she also earned her Labanotation certification from the Dance Notation Bureau. She lives with her husband in Connecticut and works in the development department at Ridgefield Academy where she will also teach dance.
