The mission of Anneke Hansen Dance is to promote the choreography and outreach activities of Anneke Hansen.  The aesthetic of this work hangs upon the primacy of a dancemaking process, which emphasizes rigorous somatic investigation and mutually respectful artistic relationships.

AHD seeks to cultivate a broader dance audience and promote and advance dance/movement education. The relationship between performer and audience is viewed as one of collaboration and within this relationship there exists a huge creative potential.
