For Sadie Lou on the Occasion of Her 75th - premiered June 2004, Sarah Lawrence College
For Sadie Lou…. was commissioned by Sarah Lawrence College as part of the school’s 75th anniversary celebration, this dance made use of the beautiful Sarah Lawrence campus. Beginning as a site specific installation, the dancers trailed across a stone wall in front of the Performing Arts Center before luring the audience inside where live music inspired by the rhythms of the ‘30’s and ‘40’s and performed by Emily Scott (trombone) and Nick Panasevich (piano) was already playing.
