Regular Dances explores ideas of beauty found in the quotidian, the routine. It grew out of a studio practice that reflected very much on technical explorations of partnering and a slow, sustained use of the foot. It was originally performed in a dance studio, in silence save the sound of the dancers feet, breath, and the creaking wooden floor.
